Thread: Friendly Fire

Hey there

Reflected Fire sux really, IMHO. You kill yourself when
1) some noobs run in your shots, not checking you are firing
2) you shoot an enemy and your mate is in the same line (especially sniper)

So you are forced to stop firing...and either dont get the kill (not that bad) or get killed cuz your noob mate is blind and the enemy kills you both...

So here's the vote...
I voted for "teammate".

ah and btw...this is no rule change, it's a cfg-change

voted no. friendly fire would be nice on a private controlled clan server but the the fun server it's just annoying. if it's on teamkill you have ppl who randmly spray and kill u and on reflect u have blockers that u can't knife to get their attention.

i killed u twice like this...

raw, they don't kill u, they kill themselves if they shot at you. that's they way the setting is set now

On small servers = yes
On FFA like FPS Fun server = no

if teamkill is on they do kill you. and if reflect is on they jump in front of you and block u... i killed cabry twice while sniping, he jumped in front of me as i shot.

Friendly fire should definitely be disabled.

The reason is simple - there are too many players on the server that A. are oblivious to EVERYTHING that goes on around them B. are idiots and walk in front of teammates after seeing that they are clearly firing in that direction C. are 10 year old kids who enjoy pissing serious players off by running in their line of fire for shits and giggles.

I just don't see it as beneficial to the server and our players' gaming experience
