    Unactive members

I don't know if it's possible or if it should, but isn't it better to lose the members who aren't active?
If you see the member list, you see a lot of members with 0 posts and 0 points. For me aren't those guy's members. Isn't it better to lose them. It only uses memory that could be used for something more important. Or do we need those members for some statistics or something else?
I suggest to mail them and if you don't get an answer you lose them.
Or that was maybe the meaning of your email, Blunks, that you send to me and Weedman earlier?

Its a good idea, but i think we need the numbers for stats, it wont look good having 100 all the way up to 800 then back down to 300 all of a sudden...
But im not the one to answer tbf

i think Blunks is the one with the answer for this. Maybe he can start a poll for it or just delete them.

    Righttt...

Not going to remove inactive members, they help to make the site look bigger, and draw away spam. They also make the forum look bigger and more inviting to members.

We have a bit under half of our users set to inactive, i've seen sites with around 2,000 members and around 500 active members.

The inactive members don't use anything, unless they're profile is viewed and even then, its next to nothing. The table that withdraws that sort of information, gets that info taken from it 100's of thousands of times a day, ever post shows your post count, every profile does too.

When i sent that email to everybody, it was ment to only go to the inactive members, we got a raise in views for a couple of days after it, and the active users number went up.

    So yea.
