Thread: multiple issues

well first off i used the console /record function to record a few games and in the process of trying to find them i somehow hid the activision x86 file so first off id like help unhiding that file and second finding the 2 videos i recorded.

i have windows 7 and i can not find them through Mods/modname/demos/demoname

any help is appreciated

erm imho it's in a hidden folder. i don't use win7 on my laptop but there might be in the explorer some tabs like "extras" or sth like this. Find the options and search for 'hidden folders' and enable them. i'm on the way to a friend, so i tell you later where my demos are hidden.

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main\demos

and im on windows 7 and on any folder push alt on the keyboard>toolds>folder options
click the view tab and select show hidden files,folders or drives

ok i got it unhidden i just reverted it back a few hours. but ive lost quite a few good games of recordings

one time i think i remember finding another activision folder in here,

C:\Users\JamesB\AppData\Local\Activision

and these had the demos in, after a few reinstalls it doesn't happen anymore. Not sure if you have got them already but just incase.

yea i got it figured out.

but now i have all my higher level classes and challenges and stuff on my level 17 :p

guess its win win then eh

my one friend with win7 could not find demos so he used search. found the destination and then he had a mishap and win7 crashed could not find demos once again win 7 changed the destination again :s
