Thread: partition problem (windows vista >:( help )

okay i have a 1tb drive partitoned

a 198gb partition (vista partition c:/) cant extend this partition
a 56gb partition (old xp partition formatted no files drive F:/) cant delete this partiton
a 617gb partition( i can format this to ntfs and use files on it but i want it merged with c:/ this is drive e:/ now) can do what ever i like with this unallocated memory






i tryed using computer management by windows
partiton magic
and gparted (debian linux partition manager)

now when i used gparted to use the 617 partiton (unallocated) to extend the 198gb (windows vista partition)] it would not allow it

now i fixed the winloader.exe problem by fix your computer option on vista install disk



when i rebooted vista winloader.exe was missing i want to extend my partition but no partition editor will allow it

ive partioned my drive plenty with no problems

the 56gb partition also wont delete i shrunk it to 56 but no more it will allow
and i cant edit the 198 gb partiton

why i need help also any ways to move to win7 with all your apps and steam games intact (no redownloading) would be majorly appreciated

also this is needed soon i only have 100mb left on my c:/ drive and am using a second partition to install programs now which is annoying
