Thread: Problem with my Computer

So, if you do or don't know, I own an iMac. I ran Windows Vista on it with Bootcamp, a program that partitions the HD to run both OS X and Vista.

Well, I got a virus earlier this week and about an hour ago, I was given the fatal error blue screen, so I tried to go in and get my stuff through Vista, but that wasn't successful. I went on the OS X side and recovered my config and hopefully my brother's USB still has my mpdata.

The virus is wiped out since my Vista partition is now nothing. I'm going to go ahead and reinstall Vista, but if I get another virus, I won't be playing until my dad gets us Windows 7.

If you guys have any suggestions on how to play CoD4 from my OS X side, please do tell.

Well, there is an official port for Mac, for COD4.. buying that would work...

Download the mac game via torrent, and try using your Windows CD key with it!

Yeah, I don't really want to spend 55 bucks on a game I already have for PC, nor do I have the money.

I'm horrible with finding torrents and I have no clue which ones are safe, fast, etc.

if u don't have an account on a private torrent site were u know there are no fake or virus shit...u should read the comments on each torrent to see if it's good or not. best public torrent sites are thepiratebay and mininova (not mononova, that's shit). like u said, u have the game once, why to buy it AGAIN?

Better than Vista... but it takes ages to download, it took about 10hours to get 40% so i quit and will download another time.

And Agent, did you install Windows 7 from scratch or did you have Vista and just upgrade? I believe the upgrade is faster.

ok to start off NEVER upgrade from one windows to another, it's just time waiting to be wasted. and as to a good mac version torrent for cod4 check ur pm.
