or you can just remove the file from the miles folder mssmp3.asi the reason to only remove mssmp3.asi is that is the "music file" there are others like for voice etc. so removing mssmp3.asi disables only music.

Uhm, afair voice files like the short-commands do still work.

Someome tried adding music to the musicbox?

umm. after placing back "miles" into my call of duty 4 folder (Macintosh HD/Users/my_name/Applications/Games/Call of duty 4/Call of Duty 4 Data) there's still no music playing whatsoever...

the default tracks work though (as in: the slow cod theme in the main menu, and the music that starts playing when "Times's almost up!" comes in SnD. That has ALWAYS worked even without the miles folder there. Single player, everything works fine etc. But mods never....

milesEq.flt
mssds3d.flt
mssdsp.flt
msseax.flt
mssmp3.asi
mssvoice.asi

anything missing?

no all are there...
check their sizes maybe?

and there are in the console cmd's not sure what they are now will check l8tr must go write exam now but teir value must be 0.5 and they are long cmd's

KK here are the cmd's for sound That may help: bg_shock_volume_x (int 0-1 default is 0.5)

x= ambient; announce; body; bulletim; bulletwh; effects; hurt; item; menu; mission; music; player; reload; vehicle; voice; weapon
