If Jack Helped You Off Your Horse, Would You Help Jack Off His Horse?
interesting but they fixed it in 2000. todays programmers are much more talented and have more resources to distribute: google puts a notice in there logo ever person in the world nearly see's it. seems like the only problem would be embedded systems but i'd say all the important ones would be replaced![]()

Well even if you believe that only embedded systems will be affected, that's still a lot that could go wrong.
Btw I can't stop staring at the GIF in your sig for about one minute every time I see one of your posts
I have to say he pulled off more of a win than a fail there...![]()

u say this could be a problem but bear in mind that thas the best part of 30 years away and technology will change and systems will be updated before then which will jsut delay the problem but then the same thing will happen again, the only way this will be a problem is if no one changes there system in 27 years and if you havent you sorta deserve a problem

btw, that problem existed before kind, it was when many programmers used 2000 as a limit for something or the like. When the year 2000 was reached (they never thougt that would be/their software would run so long) -> bam, crash crash![]()
trolol reminds me of the "2 kilobytes of data will be enough the save the data of the entire world" ( or sth like that ) from bill gates. integer-values have a defined value-interval. but it was in 1979 as ppl said there's no need to except 128-bit values or more to work with a huge amount of data.![]()
FAIL in any case![]()
In life it's all about the skills.
