Thread: Flash grenade anyone?

OK this is what led to this trail of thought:
I wanted a flash nade for myself I tried to get some but no contact could help me so I thought of making my own!


that led to the MgF-package (magnesium flash) I made!

As soon as my things are up to date (should not take too long)

I will post my full process of making a MgF-package and outlining making a proper MgF-miniNade.

tbh, if you want to make your own grenade (albeit a 'flash' grenade) I don't think you should share how you do.

I left out dangerous ingredients don't worry

btw the one is harmless I used it on my friend in my house with my mom there

the other one is very loud and some form of shrapnel.

tbh, magnesium burns with quite a bright flame but that shouldn't be enough to flash anyone as a flash grenade does.

isnt that illegal, and cant you make one from the anarchist cook book?

anarchist cookbook recipes are unstable to say the least :L

there is probably a reson you cant get hold of them and if you did manage to make one, what are you gunna do with it? rob a bank? lol

no robbing banks just to know I made one myself
it is not illegal and the MgF package works well at night but poorly in the day and is safe you can hold it in your hand but will receive some good second to 3rd degree burns

so true those stuff will go wrong about 75 - 90% of the time seriously guys stay away from that cookbook I tried some of that stuff under lab conditions luckily

the other one always works as it is quite an amount of Mg used with some extras ((students have access to some "nice" chemical compounds))

phosphorous would probably make a better flash than magnesium only thing is phosphorous gas when burnt is toxic to the best of my knowledge (never did chemistry just knowledge ive heard)
