Hey people
I got some spare time atm between school and studying so I thought why not writing something more specific how my school "works". As I'm going to write my A-levels (Abitur) in April, we have to write some kind of "Pre-a-levels" under a-level conditions. That means exams in subjects we attend on higher levels will last 300mins (actually only 5h but that are 6 "school hours" ). We have 3 classes on higher level, 1 on normal and one oral (not included in pre-a-level) where we're tested in to pass. As every exam will include all 3 semesters we've had yet it's quite a lot to study to pass with a decent grade. As we have a numerus clausus in Germany (dont know whether other countries got it, too) passing with the highest possible grade is what everyone wants to achieve, because although these are not our final exams every grade will effect our final grading.
That's all what I can think of atm. Just for anyone who's interested in our shitty school system
so far
