TBH, this is something I don't get about all this "wow we have SUCH STRONG winters nowadays"

When I was a small kid, I had 2 white christmasses. Otherwise just rain. Also, when my parents (and certainly grandparents) talk about winter, they always mention snow and how much there was.

This is what I find weird about this "global warming" thing. For what I see, the anomaly was the fact we had so LITTLE snow up to 10 years ago. now we're having the normal kind of winters we've had in the past...

Not sayin I love the snow tho..

Well Galak that's why they call it 'Climate Change' instead now. Strange how it is only recently that we've had cooler winters though

Not that unusual, but devon is near the coast and south, so it's less effected than in the midlands.

We normally have no where near as much as we have had this year. Normally it's a light sprinkle and it's gone after a few days. Rarely do we have snow as early as November.

Up here in York we've had about 2 foot of snow about 2 weeks ago and havnt had a flake since.

But as a PC based in Scarborough (only about 40miles away) they had about 6 inches last week and it really was a disaster zone, for some reason, some ppl still feel they need to go for a drive! IDIOTS!

I for one love the snow, i think its a beautiful scene and a nice change from the wet n rainy days we usually have, but it dont half cause some problems!
