Thread: 3D gaming(no expensive extra hardware)?

I have found this website were they claim that their program can make almost any game in 3D. I did not believe it. And I like testing things. So I downloaded it here to test it for myself.
I could not believe it. That did work!
The best was that the anaglyph is FREE.

Now I found that there came some problems, My PC lagged with it (I can understand that as my RAM is little and my Power-supply is actually to small for everything I have connected//plugged in LOL)

Sometimes my COD 4 would get an error in the iw3mp.exe but I then disabled iZ3D and restarted my PC and it works again.

You also lose some (allot) of color as (the settings I used was Anaglyph Output) witch is red and cyan. But changing the game brightness improved it.

You need 3D glasses. And playing like that for long times hurts your eyes.

But it sure is a new step in the way gaming is experienced!!

awesome but how do i get 3d glasses since now the movies use those black color ones not the red blue

As far as I know If you pay for the program you can use the polarized or shutter effect (Keep color same nothing lost) then you can use those "black" (polarized/shutter) glasses.

But to answer your question you must buy some transparent red and cyan/blue plastic gift rap cut them to the size of your glasses (the plastic ones from the movies) and put that in there.
Or you can cut the shape out of cardboard and use the same method. to make them.

BUT remember this Red on the left eyes side and cyan/blue on the right.

cyan is best; blue does not give the "perfect" 3D effect.

If the plastic is to transparent give it some layers till you get it right!!

well. i cant see 3d due to be having a lazy eye everythings just blue lol not tryed the shutter thing or that yet tbh

Lazy eyes are in my family too!! Lucky for me I did not get that allele. Lucky for you it is not your shooting eye that is lazy!!!

lol depends really if it was my shooting eye id be a clerk and on higher pay LOL! but thats true ive got special glasses as well that are yellow there called HD but tbh all it does is make Lines stand out more. i keep meaning to try and play cod with them :L


ive not tryed one of those 3d tvs where you dont need the glasses, that could work lol

if you mean whether I got them it's no, I just heard about glasses that could help someone get better at gaming...

Tbh, i don't believe in it... but oh well :p since you got them free no harm done :p
