Xp, so much better than the other operations systems, becuase you have to actually know how to use it. Not a full up resource hogging gui, a nice, smooth, fast one.

Supports, practically anything, worth having. And most things that aren't supported, can be made, to support. I use linux, windows 7 and windows xp, all x64.

Not going to start comparing linux, xp and mac, because they're all focused on different things, obvious. But from a lot of experience in all sorts of different areas, XP is the best windows, ubuntu is the best linux and well.. osx is the best mac.

Windows 7, is just too.. easy.. any fat kid with a mouse can do anything and.. everything it has to offer..

erm.. yeah agree partly with blunks XP is one of the better OS of Windows due to its not a.. "resource" Munching smack addict :| i dont like mac(FAIL) but thats just my preference that its just shit and asfar as linux goes ubuntu is guchi but i spend most of my time on back|track on my laptop mostly because it supprts the wireless card

my main computer has dual boot Windows 7 being the main one and windows xp as secondary
i like windows 7 because... "it looks cool" and quite well maintained and it runs quite well

oh and vista just.. fails!!!!!

Well I agree with Weedman. XP is too old. Win7 is so much faster (due to it's ability to put up with more RAM). XP's still beter than Vista but both are nothing against Win7 IMHO. But still Win7 is not perfect in my eyes. And why it's so much easier? I dont think there's a real difference. Mac is just shit imho, never tried linux. Dont really like windows and it's bugs but imho it's the best OS atm compared to the others.

Windows XP, capable of running as much ram as any other operating system, 32bit and 64bit.

Windows 7 is so much easier, with its uber control panel, built in god-mod, and gui.

Mac, good if you're into video editing, and media related. Linux, shite for gaming, beautiful for programming.

These threads make me want to bang my head against a wall, very hard. We will never agree, nobody will say the other is right, it will just drag on..
