    Thanks guys

    Has anyone had problems running CoD4 on Windows 7? Particularly the multiplayer. Mine always crashes saying 'iw3mp.exe error' or something. I've tried patches etc.

    hey welcome back, I'm running on windows 7 with no problem.
    You could make sure u have latest graphics drivers etc, i noticed windows 7 finds the right drivers but not always the most up to date.
    Also make sure your pb is up to date.

    Do what Blunks said with the mic and make sure any other jack has something plugged in if that doesn't work. Had the same problem with my friends PC.

    Hey guys, sorry for the lateness on updates, but I have CoD4 working now Yes, I did have to plug in 2 pairs of speakers to my front mic and headphone slots... why that works is beyond me
