Thread: The Plan

Right, here is what I'm planning to do over the next couple days.

25th -
Buy new server. Order may not go through till after x-mas.

26th -
Setup + Configure new server. DNS, Install cPanels, etc...

27th -
Backup, Transfer and Upgrade FpsOverload. Take FpsOverload down for the majority of the day, transfer the current database, upload current files (Avatars, attachments, etc..) and then upgrade the forum.
Site will be taken down, after the database is transferred, so no new posts are made. May take a day/ half day for the DNS (Domain Name System) to propagate. Info..

28th/ 29th -
Everything should be running.

I am also working as hard as possible on a new Server Admins area for admin apps, ban appeals and RCON distribution

Switch over may be delayed, its taking longer than I thought to get the nameservers working on a test domain.
