Hey,

You may have noticed the FpsOverload web server has been going on and offline a lot recently and been generally slow. Particularly the FTP and SSH ports.

I will be taking the FpsOverload site down when it gets too bad, so that forms and messages are not double posted or more/ not posted at all.

I will be trying to work on it at the weekend, when I have some time, but we may end up moving servers, to a closer UK/Euro server. If you know any good hosts, capable of running a medium level VPS/ Dedi server for FpsOverload and other projects, please let me know asap.

20GB Hard Drive (Used 41% goes up every couple weeks)
512MB RAM (Not really going into high usage % - but allows room for grow)
4000GB Band Width (Only using around 20GB - 25GB in busy months)
1 IP (Would be nice to have another)
400MHz Guranteed CPU (Again, not using high %)
Direct Admin/ WebminCP/ Else
PhpMyAdmin
(Fully)/Managed - Software installed to go.

Moving servers can be done in around a day, with little downtime (Hours for DNS to update).

Biggest problem is the price, which should be coverable.

I know a few hosting company's, what kind of bandwidth/specs do you need? Also you said price should be coverable?

Currently we are running:

Also, we are running cPanel and phpmyadmin. The package needs to be managed/ fully managed (Don't have the time), come with software installed. I don't want to pay for cPanel, so if that's not default, we'll drop it for Direct Admin/ Else.

Price is cover-able providing a few people donate, I can cover the rest.

indeed, the biggest problem is the price. would be very helpful if members could donate, even 1 euro is helpful

Hmm, I'll see if I can find a decent managed server.

Also, who are you currently with?

Currently with UltraVPS UltraVPS - VPS Hosting, cPanel Virtual Private Servers, Managed VDS, Cheap VPS Servers

Don't really know any managed hosting in UK, but you could try these two:
Web Hosting UK | Dedicated Servers | VPS Web Hosting - They do VPS' to. They do servers in Maidenhead, you can test your ping to them at 213.175.222.146 as well, I'm having network problems so I can't really ping it without getting upwards of 1000, even though the servers almost down the road >.>

Well I dont know whether you want to try Hetzner Online AG because it's German. However, you can still have a look
