Thread: Update

Hey,

Just want to let you know why the board has been offline a few times this week.

I've been mainly working on improving the forums SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to try get us higher on Google, Yahoo and MSN.

As you can see I've added the name and description of the forum on the forum view page, and of the thread name, on the thread view. This is to help the bots work out the page title to index.

Forum Pages, Topics and Member Pages have had the forum name taken out of the title.

I've sorted out the order of things in the headers (Meta, Stylesheets and Titles).

Added a couple of sitemaps.

Added url re-write. Now, when you visit say the News and Announcements forum, you'll see "/news-and-announcements-f8.html?f=8" rather than the coded one.

Still doing a little work here and there, if you notice any problems, please tell me

Also the FpsOverload 4 Style has been taken down, as I havn't made the changes to it yet.

I'll test this, and to more to this before 4 is released again.
