Thread: AK47, 74u and Deagles are OP, only no skillers use them

I met a player on an SD server, probably FPSOL, and throughout each map he would cry and cry and cry about everything possible, constantly talking about the "good old days" when he would scrim on 1.0 HC...
I swear he must have been typing out of his ass because the things he were saying made no sense in the slightest... and he wasn't even trolling! :o

The title is something he'd bring up often; he was calling various guns overpowered, stating that people would "spam" them, and they're just "sprayer" guns.

I was leaving the server, so I grabbed him on Xfire so I could scrim him some time. He started a convesation with me tonight and he just overwhelmed me by demonstrating how utterly brainless he is.

I just can't express his mental retardation without writing an essay, so I'll try to finish up this post soon...

We spoke on the server about scrimming. We were playing 1.7, so we were clearly going to scrim on 1.7 right? But he still thinks that I would want to scrim on 1.0, even though there are large differences. And what sets the standards for the gameplay during scrims? Yep, promod. I'm not a big fan of promod, but who wants P90's in scrims? Anyway, here is the chatlog which will showcase his mental disability.

So, what are your opinions on this? Are these guns OP because they're "too easy to use" as stated by this douche? Is promod "gay" and do the "real pros" play on 1.0 HC using dead silence?

Cba to read the chat log. But here's the deal:
OP guns are pee90, semi-automatic snipers and LMGs. Those are spray'n'pray weps. Even a guy with 0 aim will get a spray kill with one of those.
Ak:
Does a lot of damage but also has a lot of recoil which needs to be learned to control. It has a great iron sight (to hell with people that put reddot or gaycog on it) and makes it a deadly weapon for everyone that knows how to handle it. I don't see why this gun is overpowered. 2-3 shots are needed to kill someone. Lot's of other guns need the same amount of bullets.
Aku:
It's very effective on short distance (although also a spray weapon, but seriously, every spec op is) and is the "little brother" of the ak. It has 30 bullets and it's fast fire rate force the user to have a good aim. (pee90 has 50 bullets so you can ignore your aiming skills and just shoot).
Deagle: With its pretty small magazine this weapon is only a weapon for people with aiming skills. 2-3 are deadly even on distance what makes this gun really lethal - assuming you can use it.

Long story short: When watching top games on LANs ... tell me why those guns are noob guns when all those top teams use them? Oh and btw, tell me why those high price competitions use promod 204/210 insttead of 1.0 HC?

I played 1.0 yes big difference but it is not that is ts so hard it is just full of "glitches"/"bugs" that is why weapons differ. any player will get used to playing 1.0. and vice-versa.

ak, aku and deagle are the best and most used in the game, they are not over powered just the best alround for what is needed. Rushing,defending, longrange etc... The fact that they are literally the only guns used competitively shows how they are obviously not "noskillers"
