    Answering a Common Aimbot Question

This thread was requested by Psycho, this is not an advertisement thread and I do not condone hacking.

    Q. Aimbots only shoot people in the head right? So if they get a torso kill, they don't have aimbot?

    A. Aimbots can be programmed to aim at any part of the body. They can even have settings to only aim at visible body parts, aim at the best visible body part and/or aim at body parts even if they're behind a wall.
Also, you need to remember that aimbots aren't always perfect, and of course they can make mistakes, the player can lag.
Aimbots are traditionally a bot that moves your crosshair onto an enemy body part, but there are aimbots that can move your bullets towards an enemy without you having to aim on them.

How the hell would an aimbot move your bullets.

Oh, it's simple. If you're using an aimbot, you can even program it to shoot only legs. This shit called Jagerbomb has got a lot of functions, for example no recoil, wallhack, aimbot, even laser beam and autoshot -.-

To all admins - better you should get to know about this cheat functions, because it's the most popular cheating tool in CoD4. Finally, maybe you don't know some functions which don't look like cheats at first look?

meh tbh aimbots are overly easy to spot. they also tend to use a predictable weapon, mostly LMG's (SAW, RPD, M60) because it has lots of bullets and damage so they would get more kills without the need to reload.

LMG's are "hard" to use without camping, so a guy who gets massive kill streaks with an LMG while just walking around is suspicious from the start. I personally find all LMG users that get 4 or 5 kills in a row in the killfeed to be suspicious.

Of course if it's 4 or 5 headshots in a row, it's almost a no-brainer. 2 or 3 headshots in a row, yeah maybe. 4 or 5 (or more)? Not so much.

I know you just said aimbots can be set to "not shoot people thru walls" etc. but i think most aimbot users wouldn't do that, since they want to look uber SkillZored by getting m4ss1v3 k1llztr34ks and pwnz0r everyone they can see.

The only hard ones are wallhacks, especially if the player is smart enough to hide it as if he's using UAV or the minimap to locate enemies, and don't trace or aim at someone who isn't really visible.

Finally, maybe you dont know how to differentiate between good/skilled players and those who look like cheaters at first look?

I think this is actually fairly good information a quick google search will tell you a lot about aimbots.

this is a good image to demonstrate how people can trace through walls (or Wallhack) without having an aimbot though.

See this kind of images always make me think "where's the fun in this"?

Sure it'll be fun to 'own' everyone for 5 mins. But after a while, where is the fun in playing this game if everything is either done for you, or there's no challenge at all...?

    meh.

    as you guys said before
Aimbot - Very easy to spot, takes 1-2 secs of speccing and you're sure
Wallhack - not that easy.. but you can make a bait. Take uav jammer, hide somewhere and let suspicious dude kill you, if he shots through wall, or trace you, it's almost 100% sure he hacks. Also works with shooting through smoke
