your refresh rate is the determining factor. Because the refresh rate 60Hz means that the screen has the ability to change 60 times in one second. Now if you have 250 fps you get 250 frames / pictures in one second. in co-op with the screen refresh rate that means that 190 pfs are wasted they are never seen on the screen. they only strain your GPU they go through there.

what you want is to run a steady fps bassed on your Hz. So if you run a 60 Hz your optimal range or sweet spot is between 40 and 80 fps. below 30 fps NORMALLY {not always} laggs.

I ran my game steady between 240 and 260. after changing some settings I now run 70 fps no problem no lagg

FPS isn't just for lag. The engine of cod is based on a quake engine. That will mean you move smoother and have less recoil and stuff when you have 125 fps or 250 or 333 all have their advantages.

You want 250 FPS, get good config. I am playing on edited Paradox cfg and it's great, ~150 FPS, but I improved some graphic effects. So basic Paradox cfg is enough for these 250 Frames Per Sec

Specs seem fine for 250 fps, just to verify a higher fps allows benefits to practically all parts of the game. I run on 125 (i prefer to jump further rather than higher). but be careful what config / settings you run they may cripple your fps.

well sorry too say I do not think so but will test it out and see what happens

you dont need to test it out....it has been proven by several top players that higher fps improves game play

Cod4 is based on the quake engine. stable 125 fps makes you jump further. 250 higher and 333 higher and further.
