Thread: PunkBuster

Hey... i downloaded the pb updater and checked for updates for cod4... it says that everything is fine...
but there is some servers where i sometimes... after some time or when i just entered the server... PB kicks me... like i said i checked the cod4 updater and it still kicks me... Is there something i can do?

Yeh no hacks would be good but also windows 7 and pb don't work well.

haha murf... yea i have win 7... i did something that was told in the link and it works fine for now...

Yeh the win7 fix works but it changes back after a reboot

Nah i think it just checks your computer for banned files, configs etc

that happens to me too sometimes, not only in CoD4, and i got windows7 too.
i just had to wait, then it worked again but now it kicks me sometimes again, anyone knows why?
i asked a friend, and he said that pb sends information to a server, and this server tells pb if ur hacking or not,
and sometimes, for example when this server is down, it automatically kicks u, but i don´t believe ...
