Thread: Should FPSOverload Enable Pb on The Server?

no, fps has decided to turn pb off because of the lag and admins getting kicked by pb.

FpsOverload disabled PunkBuster, almost a year ago (1 year birthday coming up people!) due to the situation with Windows 7 not allowing players to join.

Once the problem was fixed we trialed PunkBuster for a week, but received complaints from a lot of players, with driver problems, packets getting lost, etc... We also had admins with these problems, and problems with getting new players to the server. For this reason we re-disabled punkbuster.

How we would like to have it enabled, it just has to many downsides to take on the positive aspects of it.

Maybe one day, but for now its still quite a strong no.

The lag is due to some hardware problems at our host. And we will not be changing hosts.

what's with new ppl and colors and no Fps won't be installing PB anytime soon. read Blunks's post for details XD.

we got enough admins to ban hackers. we stay pbless. There are still many people that cant run pb and they stick with fpsoverload. (btw who makes the cake for the birthday? )
