Thread: Game Tweaks

Okay, This is going to be a sum up of all the commands pencil and other people have wrote around the forum. All in one nice place.

/cg_drawFPS 1 - fps meter

Tweaks

/cg_fov 80 - Changes Field of View (60-80)
/com_maxfps 125 - Can set to 250 but if you play promod you will be kicked.
/snaps 30 - Helps with shot registry
/rate 25000 - shot registry
/sm_enable 0 - fps boost (Turns Shadows Off)
/cg_brass 0 - fps boost
/r_multigpu 1 - fps boost
r_detail 0 - fps boost
/r_cachemodellighting 1 - fps boost
/r_cacheSmodellighting 1 - fps boost
/cl_mouseaccel 0 - fps boost
/cg_blood 0 - fps boost
/com_hunkmegs 512 - fps boost
/r_drawsun 0 - fps boost
r_fastskin 1 - fps boost
/r_drawDecals 0  - fps boost (Removes all the crap on the floor/walls)

Pencil's Config.

Some people didn't know how to put it in so...

Go to [install dir]\players\profiles\name

Re-Name your current config (config_mp.cfg) to old_config_mp.cfg

Download config_mp.cfg from the bottom of this post and put it where your old config was.

Now, your done, load up the game and see the differences!

Some Notes:

With pencil's config your name will be "ChangeName" Change it (Esc > Multiplayer Options > Name)

Your screen might be all bright (Esc > Options > Graphics > Brightness [Lower It])

Might want to change some of the graphic settings if you have a lower class Graphics card (Esc > Options > Graphics) Lower things like Anti Aliasing, Rag-doll, Bullet Impacts, etc....

im using pencil cfg, and i must say, that he is ~45% better than basic, ni miracles, but just better than basic

hmmm maybe i did summin wrong... i tried that out yesterday.. and umm my screen looked milky, the buttons were all messed up ( didnt feel like redoing my button layouts lol ) .. how can u change the brightness???

go into graphics options, look for brightness. and yeah it's a bit milky for me 2 but it makes it easier 2 see ppl. especialy when sniping. and i'm surprised it actually has made me crash less often.

it will stay milky ? .. forget it then... i like my ful hd resolution.... and im gettin 100 FPS ... i got 190 fps with the config... yet it looks shitty ( my opinion )
