Why i always use bandolier ? Dunno, i need to shoot few times or spray...
Sniper with bandolier in SnD is kinda useless... unless you suck...
still, it's 8 vs 8 - on our servers - with m40 you have 15 ammo + 5 already loaded.
so you have 2,5 bullets for each enemy (assuming you will kill ALL enemies on the enemy team AND survive)
steady aim? not entirely necessary either coz the amount it reduces the area is small compare to a norm snipe from the hip ur still not gunna hit nething
