Thread: Xfire Stats Rigged?

As I was browsing to xfire.com to see player numbers of MW2 declining, I recognized that the graph was not declining but showing a straight line at 155000 minutes of playtime.
So I wonder, when does it ever happen that the playtime is nearly constant as it is shown here.
Are these stats rigged? What do you think?

I doubt it is really constant, but i also doubt it goes up or down thousands every second...

It won't be constant, but it will be steady around that number i would imagine.

yeah agents right...but its possible IW doesnt want to show PC stats slowing....

IW lost alot of money already, so I don't think they paid xfire to change the results...and why would anyone think that the nr of players should decline lol? the game was just released, more and more people are buying it and play it, so if IW did made some "changes", it would at least show an increase in the number of players, not a constant

If you go on the stats, and click and drag, you can get a zoomed in day-by-day version, it shows it going down, by like an hour everyday.

yep, and u can see that as the weekend ended, the number of hours played dropped, just like expected starting tomorrow, the graphic will go up again. I PREDICT THAT!

it'll soar as soon as that crack get s updated again. i played the mp for 2 minutes or so before being kicked. didn't lag that much but to many tubes and stuff.

It just takes an average per day, hence the days on the X axis.

And I also wanted to add that IW hasn't really lost any money at all. They've sold more than enough to cover production and salary costs.
