Thread: Update from... Agent!

Hey guys, how is everyone, i see a lot has changed, the forum alone is nothing like i remembered! I was searching for 20mins to find the link to post a new thread! So have a missed much? I hear Stewy from eOs has joined us... You all know he hacks right?... I guess not. Well id love for you to fill me in with whats changed blah blah, any admins or regulars been banned since i left? Gossip people GOSSIP!

Unfortnatly im not back on Cod4, as my desktop disk drive doesnt work and my old Cod4 comes up with... "DirectX has found an unrecoverable error, check the ReadMe for solutions. - Any ideas guys? and my Laptop basically the ping is always between 300-500!

Anyway i left last November (i think) to care for my then fiance and await the birth of my first child, well here goes.... On January 4th my fiance gave birth to a beautiful baby girl (we had no idea what the sex was before then), she was named by me - Mari-Claire. After over a year preparation me and my fiance finally got married on 10th March, a great day... And an even better night BOO YEH! We went on our honeymoon in New York - amazing place, so much to do its incredible!

So yeh thats 2010 in a nutshell for me so far, now to get my Cod4 back working so i can offically come back.

I guess in some ways a lot has changed, in other ways, nothing. Forums have been updated and moved around, added a totally new server admin system and started work on a new site (FpsResources).

Melas has been back, and gone. We have a Stewy? Other than that, I can't actually think of a lot that has happened, I've been a bit out of it recently with work and personal stuff.

"DirectX has found an unrecoverable error, check the ReadMe for solutions" I take it you've tried reinstalling the game? Try reinstalling DirectX.

Congratulations on getting married and the baby girl, lovely name, by the way.

Yeah, get your game working soon. I haven't played in a while either.

Like Blunks said, alot changed, good things or bad. As for your game, try installing the latest Directx9 version, or at least the one found on the COD4 CD

Qup: Yes still in training for that, it takes 6 months before i go out on the beat! And aparently my mate has a vid of him hacking... hence why he came here...

Weed and Blunks: I cant reinstall the game as my disk drive doesnt work, and i have updated the directX to 9.0 also used dxdiag to find out the problem - still nothing, i have a feeling after reading google answers ect that it may be either my Nvidia - which i cant find on my C Drive or it may be something to do with not having enough CPU memory, not even sure what half these thing mean!

how can you upgrade your DX if the HDD doesn't work? anyway, that's the problem. change the drive and everything should work fine

he means disk drive as in where you put the CD.

You could download the torrent? As you own the CD, you are not really committing a crime.

oh...in that case download it from a torrent site and use the CD key in the case. it's legal that way. sort of
