Thread: Let me introduce myself: Part2

Hi all,

I am Part2, 25 y/o from The Netherlands. Used to play the game a freakin' lot and stopped playing it.

After about a year later I decided to play again and am loving it. I played on the FPS servers yesterday and today and really liked the play and the fact that the servers are actually monitored by admins!

Today however I was playing and got: kicked, temp banned, and perm banned without any reason in 2 mins of time... in some strange way Crembo got perm banned too without any reason... Still waiting for a response on the ban appeal for this. Btw never got kicked / banned before anywhere; cheaters must die... it's as simple as that.

Well, I really don't know if the ban is going to get lifted or even if I will get to know the reason ever.. so maybe see you in the servers or else see you all in the forums!

I already did, even sent it two times because it said click here to view thread but then it said invalid link contact admin. Crembo told me that's because it's shielded off from users and only admins can see the ban appeal?!

So I'll just have to wait

Yeah we were playing last night Really liked the server and the people on it

And yes, today I was playing on the server s&d, crembo was there too.

I got kicked, returned and got you are temp banned.

Talked to crembo who was on the server and he would ask what happende.

I returned on advice by Blunks and got you are perm banned.

1 sec later Crembo told me he was perm banned too without any reason..

But hey, i will await the ban appeal

Yeah you told me to check out and join fpsoverload. As I said to you yesterday I checked out the site and made an account. I really like the site, it's so big

Anyway playing on the servers was great, got my fingers crossed for the appeal.

As I said I don't know why but we'll see..

Ah, the hunt for the hackers yeah I really hate those guys, they just f*ck up the game for everyone, there is just no point in cheating.. will do my best to help prevent these guys from playing on the server anytime!

Thanks for your post, I'll stick around on the forums until I get any news and will post any updates on the matter.

hey, welcome! Sorry to hear you got banned etc. The admins must have had a valid reason, but i hope your appeal gets through so i can see you on the server. enjoy

Hi Keeno and all others,

I played with you yesterday on the servers, I can finally play on the servers again!


What happened:

As for the ban: I still don't know why I was banned but I guess it was due to the following; I had bought the game via the internet and the cd-key seemed ripped/ stolen / leaked and seemed to appear on the Master-ban-list at www.pbbans.com since april this year while I bought the game a week ago...

My guess is that my GUID was therefore recognized as being banned on this site and I was therefore banned.

The good news however is that I won't need to await the ban appeal. With the help and advice of crembo I managed to buy the game again, this time 100% genuine and not banned.

I inserted my new cd-key into the game and can join the fps and other servers again and are not banned anywhere!!

So I guess I will see all of you on the servers (and the forum) after all!

Hi again all,

Well it seems i won't be joining you on the servers after all...

Today I played in the server and got kicked and perm banned for having no recoil?

First of all, I really don't get this; i don't use cheats, never did, never will and don't even know how they work sadly enough...

Second, I bought a new cd key yesterday evening because of the prior ban, which I had because that key (which i bought last week) seemed to be leaked/ stolen/ banned before in april this year...

I could play on other servers though, but because i liked FPS so much i decided to just buy a new cd key so i could play here.

Now i'm banned again and i really don't know why but i think i'll just have to file a ban appeal?

I uploaded a few screens i made from the emails i got when buying the key last night if that's a help.

and really, i think even the most die hard hacker wouldn't cheat after buying a new cd key, let alone me... i specifically bought the new key to play here with you guys...

Well, I filed a ban appeal, lets hope for the best.

It would be sad if this was my first and last encounter with FPS, but I guess I'll have to deal with it.

If the appeal is approved, see you on the servers!

If the appeal is denied, thanks for playing and chatting with you guys; it was short but really fun.
