Thread: FpsOverload 1v1 Autumn Competition

Hey guys

As we did not have a competition lately, I thought it is time to make a new one. This time, slightly different. As all my competitions, this one will be for free - you will not win anything like a new mouse or something like that but still the winner will not come away empty-handed.

What
-This will be a 1v1 Round competition. This means, if you lose around you will not be excluded from it.
-How many rounds we play will depend on the number of participants.

When
-First game will start on 10.04.2010
-All wars will be played during the (following) weeks.

Rules
-You may only participate if you are a member of the FpsOverload community and have at least 10 posts in the forum.
-Every war will be played in promodlive204 promod_mode 1v1_mr8.
-One map per player
-You may leave if you have won the war (means you won at least 17 rounds).
-Every game has to be recorded ( /record in console)
-Screenshots from the guids must be taken ( /pb_plist in console, shift+console open key to open full console)
-Any kind of cheating (hacks, faking results, letting another player play for you, etc) will at least get you disqualified from the competition
-When your opponent does not show up he will have a forfeit loss.
-When both people do not show up, both will have a forfeit loss.
-There is no fixed date/time when the war has to be played. It only has to be done by Sunday evening, 21.00 (9pm) GMT+1. Any results that come in later may be considered as 'forfeit loss for both'.
-whenever a round is finished, your next opponent will be someone that is almost equal to you (winners vs winners, losers vs losers and so on)
-only the following maps may be taken: mp_backlot, mp_citystreets, mp_crash, mp_crossfire, mp_strike

The Winners (1st-3rd) will get a custom title here in the forum.

Argggg confused twice with these dates i thought 10th april 2010 so I was HUH?

But then I remembered you guys write it differently :p

Haha yeah, I struggled with that as well, here in Germany we also write dates like DD.MM.YY and not MM.DD.YY (as above in my thread).
